I found this interesting build on the internet today: http://fallenherosdreamride.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=9
Larry, Thank you for finding our website and posting the link. I see you are in Spokane. That is where Phillip was born. We are originally from Eastern Washington, now in St. Louis.
Dave, It's an honor to have you on this board. I will pray that your son's ride becomes complete. I have no doubt it will. I'd be happy to donate what little I can if I knew where to send it. Thank you, and God bless your son. Paul Sgt. 823rd CES RED HORSE 78~85
Paul, First and most important, Thank you for your service. One item I'm looking for right now, if anyone has a parts truck, I need a steering stop. The piece mounted to the lock pin for the king pin. There is a "Donate" page on our website with the info. We are grateful to everyone that is helping to make this happen. Dave
if i got what you need Dave - sorry for your loss. I think this project is a great idea and will help others as well. I have a heap of parts left over from my restoration. If you see something you need, just let me know and it is yours. Here is a link to the list and some pictures. https://talk.classicparts.com/showthread.php?t=7126 I will only be around here until Monday, April 25th early, but I can help make any shipping arrangements you might need. I will also gladly donate 10% towards your cause of whatever else I sell for the rest of the year so we can get Phillip's dream truck on the road. Best of luck to you and yours.
