For those of you who: a. don't have an oil filter, but want one b. like the old school look c. have more dollars than sense http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/shopnow/show_item.asp?product_id=obhofp
Bling! Check out page 258 in the Speedway catalog.....finned aluminum spin-on filter cover....$19.99. Works great on my remote filter mount, matches the Wayne valve cover, slides over the filter and locks down with a pinch clamp and allen head machine screw. I was amazed at the quality of the casting and the polished finish for that kind of jingle. As for improving performance.......wow.......feels like 30% HP increase, muffler bearings are much quieter, and I think my mileage has increased by at least 41%. Dave
You talking about this Dave?? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Finned-Oil-Filter-Covers,5724.html And by the way, when rotating muffler bearings always swap them front and back, never side to side.
I Like it ! This is the real deal , just like the old days : it's cheap , fake and looks good . I see they no longer carry Ambehilical Hex Nuts , guess I'll have to give up street racing then
Street racing, eh? Question is! Can you operate a clutch yet? Do I need to come out to LaLa land and drive your truck so it doesn't get carboned up?
Touch : My Truck , My Moto My Lady And you die . Feel free to thrash her wretched Toyletta Corroded tho' .
Bling! That's it Bill!!! I'm sure it's an Off-shore repop but for that kind of coin I bit, and with my relocated filter mount up on the fireway, it adds that "finishing touch." I was expecting something a bit "cheesy" but somebody screwed up and offered a product that was better than expected. Dave
