Last weekend we were by a big race nearby Berlin on an old airbase. Enclosed few pics from this race weekend with old american cars/trucks. Best time on the 1/8 mile was 7,8 seconds with 95 mph topspeed but it wasn't me with my truck.
I have a lot of work at my Pickup to drive this time :D

@Nate: We have 2 big rat rod meetings in germany but i don't knew till the last weekend. It's a nice show and i was surprised what can do a mechanic with an old car/truck. Wow a lot of power in old trucks. I think i let my truck in the actually condition :D I'm happy with my truck - only a A/C in summer is a nice idea.

@Zig: It was too far away from my home therefore i drove with my Cadillac to the show. It's similar as i drive my truck but the Cadillac is a little bit faster:eek:

I believe if i'm gone with my truck on this race i can get a lot of jubilation for the slowest vehicle on the race track. perhaps 60 seconds on the 1/8 mile:eek:

    Slow Racing

You'll mayhap be amused by leanring that at one of the Air Cooled VW Drag Days , they had a slow race where teams pushed the car of choice down the 1/4 mile ~ I was much younger then and four of us wheezed our way to humility by not going fast enough pushing our 1944 Kubelwagen , some kids bushing a Bulli passed us easily , at the end the Track Announcer asked what had happened and I gasped " We couldn't keep up with our car "

That stopped him cold for a moment :D .
