    Windows with a cold?

I gotta hand it to ya. I would have picked about 1000 other things to work on if I felt bad. I have never been able to avoid turning the air blue when I work with windows. At least now you can hang your headliner though. Of course that is another thing I wouldn't tackle if I felt bad. The good thing is, i rarely ever feel bad (knock on wood).
The truck is looking fantastic. Keep those pictures coming!

I'm usually not a big fan of red on vehicles but that truck makes me want to drive out to East Texas and take a closer look. I know the boop is excited.

Remain Calm !!! He got tied up in deep thought on the wiper motor today-(Go electric). Just like it takes time to make a Good wine. His daughter won't let it set too long so I think we will be seeing a lot of progress and photos coming soon.

    quick fix

OK, OK, here's a quick fix.

I didn't do much today, it is church night and it was cold this morning and I felt really bad and, and, and...

I did work on the battery compartment, emergency brake system and got my parts out where I could find something. Still can't find some of them critters and I know I ordered them. My wife calls it the Mail order truck, HA, I'll show her! :p

I also went to town and bought a heater, this thing is great for heating the TENT I got to work in. Every chance I get I let my wife know how MUCH I need a shop, and she says she needs a new vacume, stove, groceries etc, etc, etc...

anyway here's a few pics before I leave for church

I know what to do with the wiper situation. Take a fine wire brush to the outside of the vacuum wiper housing. Once it is really clean and shiny, spray it with clear coat and mount it to a piece of bedwood scrap. Then put it on the shelf above the work bench as a relic from the restorodation.
Then go spend about $150 on an electric and never worry about it again.
With at truck and a daughter that fine I just wouldn't take a chance that she would ever be in a hard rain and the wipers would fail. IMHO.

Your daughter would take a few years off your life if she got caught in a downpour with those old wipers! Give her the best! You already got the old ones out- if you haven't done the whatoosie puttin' that back in there, make it worth the words you'll try hard not to say as your trying to put the nuts on that thing way on up in there!

I guess that's my vote for electric then...

    for what it's worth

Should I let Nate have the final word or go with you fellows scientific wisdom,,, what an oxymoron if you give it some thought.

Let's see now:  pressure because of saftey, pressure that I might not give her the best Pressure because they might quit or be intermitent, hmmmmmmmmm, you fellows sure don't give a man a break.

Now let's see what nate says, HECK, it's only 150 more $$$$$$$$

Ahhhh, I got my fix. This is the fun part. The thing I did though is, since I bought parts for like 10 years before I finally got around to it, I bought duplicates of stuff like door molding and rubber things to go around the windshield wiper things. I didn't remeber that I had a set already stashed back somewhere. I think it is a sing of that disease. What is the acronym...O L D.
    Looks good!

    Tent

Who woulda thunk it. Ken you get the prize for the first good laugh of the day. I feel like I'm workin in a pint sized box, so it'd have to be a pint sized revival. Don't get me wrong though,,,, it is an idea. I figured it would end up being the Boopmobile home. Hope I can do better for the ol gal though.

Boopster, If you don't get that truck together may end up being called Home. At least it beats the smaller dog house I have out back. I didn't want to beat you up on the tent figured it was better then nothing in the winter. You remind me of my hanging christmas lights each year I always hold off when the weathers nice & dry Seems like every year the coldest weekend I am out putting them up. My wife always states the offical start of the Holidays hanging lights & foul language. Best was the year I fell out of the front tree She got a Good Laugh that day. Get the Truck done keep posting pictures. Remember we are not laughing at you but with you.

We were tied- what with the gravel floor and all. Now you hauled of and built you a multi-purpose room. Garage, yes. But you may have also created a greenhouse. Ya gotch yer transluscent walls, high ceilings, and a heater. All you need is a watering system and you got it made!:)
