Thanks to all for making this possible. The truck is a long way from done but it runs and stops. My wife was like a kid in a candy store.

    Thanks for all the help!

Outstanding!!! Man, I LOVE videos of these trucks rolling along! Did I see some brick streets there? Your town kind of looks like mine~ I loved seeing the two kids on the one bike take notice as you rolled by. ;)
    Thank you for posting that!

    My favorite

My favorite part was when you said, "Do not lean on that door". LOL. I think everyone on this forum knows EXACTLY what that feels like. Too funny. Great video.

    Thanks all

The doors get addressed next. They worked well before paint and I have not put weather stripping on yet.
The cab only has 60k on it and the latches looked good. I'll have all winter to play with it. I still have plenty to do!

Zig...those roads look familiar because I'm about an hour north of you.

I read the thread on how to put those in....guess it would be cheaper than picking the wife up off the side of the road. She and the kids treated me pretty good on my birthday with parts. Living close to KC and our host is good.

I told the kids I would make the Ottawa car show in 2015 you come by the house and we'll go. If you're ever up in the area let me know.

Sounds great, but when is the car show? If it's during the summer, you're on!

Zig...it's a late summer event over 2000 vehicles this year. Usually has a little bit of everything. Great show if you can make it. Google old Marais river run or Ottawa car show.

Nate...seat belts are going to be a must. I've gotten to used to wearing them (company takes a dim view of not wearing them in the work truck). The other thing that's going to happen is door latches repair or replace. Then a winter of piddling with things.

    Thanks Karen

It was worth every second of the last 11 years. There were plenty of times when I wondered if Nate wouldn't be right (get it torn down and then never put back together). You are not far away in KCK maybe you and Zig will both come to Ottawa with me next year.
