If you don't have the manual for your particular year of vehicle then the best bet is to buy a cheap rebuild kit for your 2G carb. It will give you the specs. The drop is less crucial as it will bottome out most times before the spec'd measurement. It is the "full" position that is crucial to prevent flooding/spillage. Hope this helps. John
