As I feel the pain in my back from welding the patchwork of panels and fabricated peices of metal to repair my fred flinstone 66 truck.I wonder why reproducers of panels wont just reproduce the whole floor as is common now for most other yrs of truck .Heck I see you can even buy the whole cab for the 1950's chevy trucks and you can buy a complete floor for 67-72 ( one peice) but not for our truck we have to put together this jigsaw puzzle of metal make up other parts on our own. ok enough complaining back, and to the welder. Kilroy steps off his soapbox !!!!

I will also step on your soapbox. A complete floor patch would be a great seller. The 60-66 trucks are very popular, and at least part of the floor almost always needs to be replaced. If someone had the choice between a patch thats fit is well...patchy at best and a complete weld in floor; I believe most would choose the complete floor. It seems to me that the reproduction companies are missing out on an item that could make replacing a rotted floor much easier, and make them more money...

    Same thing for the roof.
