frame vin#

is there anyone that knows how to run a frame vin#, i have recently bought a 1965 chevy 4x4, and have found out that the cab vin# shows that the truck is a 1965 3/4 ton 2wheel drive. but the frame does seem to be a factory 4x4 frame. the vin# is 6z157982
I would appreciate the help.
