So I pulled the brakes on my 1950 Chevy 3100 truck, and I found out that some where along the way one side was updated. I have since bought all the parts to rebuild my front axle, but I am having difficulty finding an assembly drawing or instructions. Any assistance would be much appreciated as I do not want to do this wrong.

    Thanks,
    Earl

Earl, maybe you can get what you need from shop manual and factory assembly manual

Yep, Booger is right. I just did my 49 Panel and the three books you need are the Shop Manual, the 47-54 assembly manual and probably the Master parts catalog. The assembly manual has mostly 53-and 54 information but it has pictures and that's what I need:D. The 50 models have some different part numbers which is why I used the Master Parts catalog to research some of the parts. Like correct u-bolt lengths as mine had been changed somewhere along the line. Most of the vendors have these books and it's money well spent if you ask me. Good luck with it.
