HEY DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS REDRILLED THE FRONT BRAKE DRUMS ON 1964 PICKUP TO CHANGE FROM 6 TO 5 BOLT WHEELS. THE PLACE I WORK THE GUYS IN TOOL ROOM SAID THEY COULD DO IT FOR ME. I'M PUTTING A 5 BOLT REAREND IN THIS SPRING I HAVE THE DISC BRAKE SETUP FROM THE 71 CHEVY THAT I'M GETTING THE REAR END FROM BUT I WANT TO WAIT A YEAR BEFORE I DID THE FRONT BRAKES.

This dosn't answer your question BUT, Is that a 71 doner TRUCK? The front end swap may not be as difficult as you think. Take the entire front crossmember out of the doner and install that crossmember, a-arms spindles and all, into the 64. I think it will require two holes to be drilled, but it's pretty much a bolt in. You will need to use the master cylinder and proportioning valve from the 71 too, but that will go right in with little effort too. ( Grab the brake pedal actuator rod from the 71 too) Does that 71 have power steering ? Pick up a REZ adaptor and bolt that in too !! See how one thing leads to another ? DValentine
