As I have my bed tore apart, I would like to get my gas gauge working. After looking around for the wiring its basically all gone from the gauge itself and one red wire and black wire hanging from sending unit. Truck has been converted to 12v and will be trying to reuse the 6v gauge. I purchased the runtz voltage reducer to use at the gauge. Is there a diagram or the best way to rerun the wires?

Do a search as this has been asked numerous times. The only thing to watch for is the gauge must not be wired backward or it's gone. Nate can tell you instantly which gauge terminal gets the hot wire and which one the sender hooks to. The originally had a strip of light poster board type paper that had an "I" and "S" pressed into it for Ignition and Sender. It was held in place by the bottom nuts on the terminal posts.
