    Hey Group,

I am needing to replace the main Fuel line from Tank to pump and wondered how the connections were originally done.

I see that from the tank there was a 5/16" threaded pipe from tank to Shut off valve, then from the shut off valve, there was an intermediate rubber hose that would screw on?? to the Stainless Steel Fuel Line? Does anyone know if the fuel Lines available for this truck come already with the fittings on either end of this steel line? If so, what type of fittings, are they a simple Male threaded fitting?

Also, the end that is near the pump, does that line go straight into the pump, or do you need another intermediate hose to connect the line to the pump?

It is a simple screw on to the stainless steel tubing. The local auto store hand the parts need to assemble the rubber hose . It is actually real simple.

I'm using a short rubber hose between the fuel line and the pump to eliminate any line flex due to engine vibration.
