    Hi All,

Another question... I went and purchased a new fuel pump for my 53 3100 with a 62 235 engine (see first picture attached). Second picture is like the one I took off. The new one, the lever won't fit between the block and the cam. Seems the lever is too thick. Has anyone else run into this? The one I took off is double action. Should I just rebuild it?

    I 'd rebuild the second one .

That pump is still available from AIRTEX Co. new for about $40.00 often less .

    Nate,

Any suggestions on where to pick up the airtex fuel pump? I have looked online and the host. They are running from $72 to $119. If I can pick up one for $40, then that is about the same price as a rebuild kit.

    Thanks,
    Howard

I found a double action one on ebay, just like I took off. $17.59 + shipping. It should be here tomorrow. Thanks!
