I don't get it  my kids 53 3100 has a shut off valve under/on the fuel tank but my 49 panel doesn't and the master parts book shows a listing for one. I can't find a vendor that has one listed. If anyone has one from a tank relocate or know where I can get one let me know. The hot rod guys have some aftermarket stuff but I'd like to stick with the GM original if I can find one. Any help here would be appreciated.:)

They tend to leak after a while...many have been replaced by a brass elbow.

it's not a GM specific part , it was made by Weatherhead and is still available , I just don't know the correct P/N but I'm sure most of the vendors (perhaps the host here ?) will have it in stock .

Don't forget to replace the short flexible fuel hose at the same time ! .
