Ok, I would appreciate anyone's opinion about an idea I had (no claims to it being original) I really like the looks of the filler neck coming out of the cab, it just gives it that old time classic look, but no way am I keeping the tank in the cab, it's going between the frame rails! My question is, what would anyone's opinion be if I kept the filler neck in the cab just for looks?

I think it could be cool but you would have to figure out a proper way to run the hoses through the cab & seal the opening/protect the hose. maybe a pipe welded to the cab or sandwiched with rubber hoses on each side...???

check out this link: and read "gas tank relocation? (two posts back) we've been talking about different options.

Yeah I have been reading all the posts on here and found some great information, I did not find anything about what I am suggesting though, did I miss a post about that?
