Gas Tank Filler Neck

I have the rubber grommet and a steel filler neck for my 66 Fleetside. I got the plastic one out. How do I install it?

First you put the rubber piece in the hole I would suggest using
a spray silicon lube for this,then you put the rubber gas hose
section on the tank and slide the filler neck in from the outside
I did mine this way and it sliped right in.
