When I bought my truck it had no gas tank. Old one leaked, rusted the brackets, and fell out. I am now trying to put a tank in it. I have the mounts and straps on the tank. When it is sitting on the jack the fuel lines are to short to reach the tank. Once I raise the tank I can't get my hands in there to hook up the hoses. What's the trick?

You might want to take the front bed bolts out and loosen the rear ones. Then you can jack the front of the bed up and access the lines from above. If this does not work then you might want to add some rubber hose to lengthen the lines off the top of the sender so you can get the steel lines one securely.
