    Gas tank sealer

In this attachment are some instructions for the gas tank sealer that we sell, hopeful they will help with your question. We have had real good sucess with this product, although must customers usually go with a new tank. It's a farley simple process to apply the liner to the tank. Clean the tank of as much rust as you can, then use the metal prep to etch the tank. Pour in the tank liner rotate it all around to cover all surfaces, then rotate the tank occasionally so the liner doesn't sit in one corner. Then you should be back in business.

Yes one quart will be enough. Just remember to rotate the tank as it is drying to coat all sides of the tank.

The tank sealer works great. I have used it on several trucks over the years. A new tank is nice, but if your tank is in good shape, the sealer works well. Clean it really well with metal prep. It is a good time to paint it too.

    Gas Tank sealer

I did use it, my gas is running clean, but one thing I forgot to do is lube the float from the sending unit, and It stuck to the bottom of the tank on empty..ha ha So I thought my Guage was dead, when i was taking the sending unit out,It made a poping sound (stuck) from the bottom of the tank, and now the float is working. One thing I am learning on my first resto is Take things slow and think things out...you do not want to do everything twice...gaff
