Pyramid in No. Ho. sux badly , be forewarned .

I use two , on is Verns in Gardena on El Segundo , the other off the 710 freeway on Imperial Highway ~ is that too far for you ? .

FWIW , Verns does outstanding chrome works but it not cheap .

    Thanks for the answer Nate

    Hey Nate,

Thanks for getting back to me. That is a good tip about Pyramid. I will make sure I stay clear of them. I live in Santa Clarita so the other ones you mention are a bit far. One I contacted a while back and seems like may be a good option is Powdercoat Industries in Palmdale (www.powdercoatindustries.com) but there are no online reviews or otherwise and I would really rather not learn the hard way. Not sure if you have heard of them? I do remember when I spoke to them a few years ago they seemed like they knew what they were talking about. If I remember right I think they said blasting all body parts including all frame parts plus powder coating the frame would be $1700. I am not sure if that is a good price or a bad price. Any thoughts on that?

    Blasting

I have no idea on that pricing .

It's *very* important you go look at what they're doing to others metal before allowing therm t blast and possibly ruin yours ~ my buddy was estatic over some bead blasting price he got , I knew it was a jerkoff joint from the jump but they sweet talked him and then destroyed pretty much the whole vehicle by using the wrong ( coarsest they had) media instead of the soft media they'd promised .

Even frames need gentle blasting if you plan to ever drive it again .

If you have *any* doubts or reservations , walk away .

Keep asking , go to the various drive ins and show 'n shines the Antelope Valley is chock full of , talk to folks and carry a pad & pencil so you can take notes ~ often knowing who NOT to use is more important .

    Thanks Charles and Nate!!!

Charles - I will give them a call today and see what they do.

Nate - I will start doing a little more talking and not just looking at the car shows I go to. :)
