Good sounding horns

    Does anyone know what model horn sounded the best? It seems like old Cadillacs had great horn :D but I cant rember which year it was. I am rewireing and want to replace the old VW horn I have now.

    If 12 volt, you might try the "freeway blaster" horns available at O'Reilley's. They have both high and low tones. I put both on my '57 GMC and am very happy with them. They were cheap.

    It's A Matter Of Harmonics

    Go search out old American cars (or high end British cars) and take some old
    horns to the used battery pile , select the two that sound _awful_ but toot loudly solo ~ you'll be wanting one low tone and one high tone horn , wire them up paralell and don't forget the relay, when two nasty sounding horns toot in unison , the result is music .

    This works with snail , trumpet and disc typ horns .
