Tappered wheel bearings are done. BUilt a little adapter for inner bearing and have 65 hub installed. Not on the truck yet because I'm making my own disc brake kit. 94 4x4 rotor and caliper. Milled a little out of the middle of rotor. Drilled holes in rotor from the back side, using old rivet holes as a guide. Then counter sunk some allen head bolts. Tapped the hub and bolted them on. In the process of making a caliper bracket. Have a prototype made put of fiberboard. No one open today to get metal, so I will work on that this week.Got the tank out and have been working on getting it cleaned up.
HERE'S A QUESTION. You will notice in one of the pics there is a gap between the bed side and the lower valance piece. How do I correct this? It's all connected to the running boards and the bed. Does anyone have the dimminsions on the bed mount blocks. I will make some out of alluminum. Won't have to replace the again. Thanks for everyones input on this forum. Found lots of answers here.

    Pic of bad work.

The guy before me must have not known how the seat came out. I'll have to weld the whole piece back in. Looks like they took it off with a air chisel. IDIOTS.

Breezy, the runningboard apron is connected to the runningboard with 3 nuts and bolts and with a bracket that ties into the runningboard. You should be able to remove those bolts and remove the apron and do some gentle bending to get it to line up better with the bed.

Ken, Do you think it may have something to do with the bed mounting? It's the same on both sides like it's low in the front. It's dark and I'm settled in for the nite. I'll look later to see if I cant adjust on it. Thanks Ken.

Breezy, that is very possible. I just found my bed restoration manual and read where the bed blocks are 2 1/4" high. Hope that helps.

Yes, there are 4 blocks and they are all the same height.
