Come on folks. Someone out there has to have an idea of what rearend will work without heavy modification. I'm planning my 57 3100 project and starting to get some parts. This is the only area that I have no idea about.

Is there any rearend that can handle 300 HP that just bolts in? How about one that only needs the spring perches moved?

    Thanks,

You should be able to find a kit from Classic Parts that allows you to bolt on ANY rear end with three inch axle tubes. Myself, I'm putting a '95 Silverado axle under the '65. As far as handling 300hp, look for a rear end out of something that was meant to make that kind of power.
