Saturday night was the Shifter's car club classic car cruise downtown Hibbing MN. I worked til 6 at my auto parts store then took my 53 (had it parked out front at the store all day) chevy out for a nice cruise. There had to of been about a hundred cars/trucks out there. I got alot of thumbs up. Sunday I had to work, but I was able to take a lunch and go up to the show. I saw only two 47-54 Chevy trucks in the show...

Sunday my dad painted the wheels on our 53 black...

Then today I added chrome trim rings...

Can't wait to get the wood back on the bed, and bring it down to back to the 50's car show.

    Trim Rings

really set if off well .

I have a whole buncha old 15" & 16" trim rings I've collected over the years , all have dents of scratches but look quite nice once polished up . they're perfect for working trucks , add a little ' bling ' while not looking out of place .
