I finally finished cutting-out all the rust on the passenger side of my 66 cab. Welding in the new metal was a real challenge. WHEW! Today, I made the first cut on the driver's side and took out most of the sill. When I grabbed it to lay it aside...a huge rat nest fell out of it (picture). I named this truck right..."Ratnest".. after finding a mummified rat in the glovebox when I first got it home.

Hmmm..that way Ratnest would have another meaning...cool idea.

Yesterday I cut out 95% of the driver's side rust. Here's a before welding picture. I'm going to save the door pillars by adding some new metal. That will make alignment of the new patch panels much easier.
