I thought I'd seen a Holiday thread here but can't find it now so here is mine .

As 2012 winds to a close , Id like to THANK YOU ALL for the help and cameraderie I've seen and recieved here , this has been a trying year for all of us in many different ways , having this resource to go to for a smile and some tech help , is always nice , it makes my dayze go past a little easier .

Sadly my Internet access has been severely curtailed but I still like to pop in whenever I can ~ I hit this site right after I check my E-Mails .

I assume I have mentioned that my Son and his loverly Wife are expecting ?
Penny should be ariving early March 2013 and the Dr. says she'll be tall and 100 % healthy , I am pleased to become a grandfather .

Michelle says I can teach Penny how to ride a Moto & hot wire cars but not how to roll cigarettes nor change the screens in a bong.... .

This new phase in my long and interesting life I look forward to .

As usual , my faithful 1/2 ton base model CHEVROLET pickup truck waits quietly by the curb , Christmas Wreath on it's proud grille , ready to do my bidding and take me anywhere I need to go in style and comfort if not overy fast .

New Holidayze spokesman for Life Alert!

Most folks in the U.S. are familiar with Life Alert and their slogan "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" Well, here's their new Holidayze spokesman!

    Same here!

Happy holidays to you all! One of the best presents I get is the year-long supply of great info/photos that are found on this site!
And reminders of my younger days, Nate. "Hand rolled and bongs"! HA!

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and Happy New Year.

Nate, congrats on the 'yet-to-arrive' new arrival.

I greatly appreciate everyone's advice and experience when it comes to working on these old trucks. I will be tackling mine again very soon.

    Nate, my friend,
Hope someday you can drag your tired broken old body to Texas for some real old car bench racing (but not now with temp 28, dropping, and blowing snow). In the meantime Happy Holidayze and the best to you and your's. Evan

    Christmas for all

    Nate, and everyone,

As I sit here reflecting on the pasted year, watching a Christmas Story, Nate coagulations on becoming a grandfather, of a healthy child and family, you always get to the point with your comments, Family and friends (this site) we all share the enjoyment. Just like you said generators may not be in existences, we will all be talking about them and things that pass our lives. You’re sharing your experiences with us and your family and we all appreciate it.
The main gist is you’re with them and your Chevy is out on the curb, it’s a great feeling knowing you’re not out there with it (sitting on the curb).

    Happy Holidays to all….

    GREAT Tree Ornaments !

Especially the '46 Chevrolet 3100 , just like the one I owned decades ago....

I used to live very near a cherry , if abandoned 1957 Dodge " Sweptline " (?) pickup truck , those were so cool .

Even and others , I do hope to get my sorry but over to TEXAS and the rest of America again ere long , I won't drag it , I'll drive in either my truck or my Metropolitan Nash Fixed head Coupe :D .

It's been a long and hard life but I have only a very few regrets , the ride has always been interesting if not fun all the way  .

Life's little iniquities make the better bits more enjoyable .

To - day I slept almost to 8:10 (late for Farm Boys) then went walking on the beach with my big brother for a few hours...

It was overcast but dry and (IMO) very warm @ 57° F .

Back to work to - morrow , in my trusty old CHEVROLET pickup of course :p .

Hopefully I'll get my Laminectomy early in 2013 .
