[updated:LAST EDITED ON May-09-06 AT 02:18 PM (CST)]I just got a set of used heads and tried to look up the number and it won't come up any where I look. It does however have a triangle on the side and under the cover. Does any one know if this is for a 350 and up or 305 and down. The code #'s are 8795886 and 8774652.
I tried to look them up on the web to no luck either,Ihave a old set of heads that are off a 307 block they didnt make 307 but just a few years had different stories a lot of people liked the 307 or didnt like the 307.I dont like the 307 because it replaced the 10 year strong motor 283 .Thats kind of a puzzling about those numbers on those heads you got,maybe take them to someone who might know could be any were from 262,265,283,302,305,307,327,350,400? Sorry couldnt help that much. Good Luck.
The mystery has been solved. After a little more scrubbing some of the 8's turned into 3's. They ended up being 305 heads. Thanks for the help though.
