Okay hi all this is my first post hope to hear from someone who has experienced what I am talking about.
I have a 1966 C-10 with a 3 speed column shift. I want to put some headers on the 283. I have heard horror stories about getting the driver side header to clear the shift linkage and I have heard that it is no problem. I an very flexible as far as solutions go. I don't want to swap the tranny but can I change it to floor shift? Does anyone out there know of some heads that will work with little or no mods to the linkage? If I don't have to switch it to floor shift that is of course prefferable.
