This is what I have. I have a 1960 Chevrolet Pickup 1/2 ton. I have a 350 small block with a 3 spd transmission and hydrualic clutch. I need to get some headers. I need to know if you guys run into the same problem which would be clearence of course. I have heard about the Hedman "Block Hugger" headers and it looks like that might fit but not really sure. Please answer ASAP thanks

Sanderson also makes a block hugger that will work and is good looking. For ANY header you order, remember to mention if you are using Fast Burn Heads.

I have a 64 Chev PU and installed a 350 with an automatic (700r4). I used Hooker block hugger headers which fit well and didn't require any modification. The primary tubes are 1 5/8 inch dia and a 2/ 1/2 inch collector. They worked very well and looked good too. You can buy these headers from Summit Racing and will fit your setup fine.
I upgraded the engine to a ZZ430 with fast burn heads and found the Hookers didn't work. Sanderson makes a header for these heads, 1 3/4 primary tubes and 3 inch collector and also fit very nicely. So I'm running the Sanderson headers now and find them to work well also. If you want to have a visual look at the Hookers check out my web page. Good luck. http://www.geocities.com/richmond2_99/64PU.html
