Getting ready to install the chrome H/light Bezels on my 57 3100.
Do these things just fit inside the space in the Bezels? I guess the 'skinny' part seals against the headlight retaining ring and the excess gets trimmed off?
Anyone have any pictures of this install? They don't come with instructions and I want to make sure I don't mess this up.

    Thanks,
    LDO

I put a set of those on my 56 not too long ago. I am sure they do not need to be trimmed but I had to do some coaxing to get the bezel to slip around the headlight rim with the seal installed in the bezel. I think you have the right idea as to how the seal fits into the bezel. If you use something thin like a small screwdriver or one of your wifes butter knives  to help with the install you should be good to go.

    More help!

    ok,
got the seals installed. They did require a little trimming but not more than maybe an inch off the end and thanks for the armor all trick.

Tried to install the chrome bezels and the screws are too skinny! They just go all the way thru.

I purchased the chrome bezels, headlight buckets and screws from our host here so I figured it would all work.

Are there additional anchor nuts I'm supposed to have?

Bob,The Screws That Were Supplied with your bezels Might Be The Right Ones,
but The Hole Or Holes In Your Fastener Might Have Been Spread Out To Big
Now, and You Might have To Replace OR Bend The Back Tab and Make The Hole Smaller! The Reason I Say This Is On My 58 Someone Put Bigger Wood
Screws In, That Were Way To Big and Made The Holes That Much Bigger!
I Don't Know If Their Are Replacement's That Are Made To Replace Them

Yeah I sent one of the mods here a pm but more so they would check their stock to figure out whats up.

I went to lowes and picked up some flat anchor nuts in there auto bolts section which slide right on. For two bucks I was back in biz.
