Hello all, I am new to the forum. I have a 1953 Chevy 3100. I just replaced the fenders and have new headlight rims they came with clips however I don't know anything about how to apply them. Does anyone have some instructions?

    Welcome 53onatree!

The clips are designed to hold the rubber seal in place. The seal should be split. That part goes on the bottom. There is a longer clip that goes there, along with 3 other shorter clips that goes around.

Instead of trying to explain how they attach, here's a link to a picture showing them. http://www.classicparts.com/1947-54-Headlamp-Rim-each/productinfo/48-012/

The long clip goes into the top of the headlight rim.

Yes, it shares the garage with the 53, they have been together for a long time. I used the truck to get parts and I have used the 1940 Bus. coupe to get parts for the truck. The coupe has a large trunk and can hold alot.

That truck has been in my family since before I was born. I came along in 1959. It was used by my grandfather, then my father now myself.

    Nice. And Welcome.
I like your clever member name. Where are you located?
My dad and uncle shared the truck between them when in high school.
I think this is where many of us get out passion - from our memories of family.
