ok Im stuck -- i have a 84 silverado and i can not get to the heater core ... I took the glove box out and removed the "pipework" for the vents but now i only see one bolt that i can remove from inside --- appears that all bolts come from under the hood --- is this the route i need to take ? looks like alot of work if i have to go that way --- just wondering if anyone can tell me before i start ripping stuff out ---- thanks chris dallas tx
You need to look for the studs around the ac box under the hood. Only loosen the nuts, the bolts are not holding the heater core in.
