i WAS HEATING UP MY 1998 CHEVY TRUCK UP THIS MORNING AND MY TRUCK BEGAIN TO HAVE SMOKE COME FROM MY DEFROSTERS. iT SMELLED REAL BAD AND THEN THE BLOWER AND HEATER DID NOT WORK AGAIN. wHO CAN TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. wE HAD ALOT OF iCE AND TEMPERTURES AROUND 20
 
If it was smoke and the blower motor quit workin than i would guess the blower motor went or the wires to the blower motor melted. If it was steam than the heater core blew.
