HEI Upgrade

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and have a question for you guys. I am upgrading my 72 with a 350 from points to HEI. I know that I need some more "substantial" wires and am wondering how I know which wires will suffice. Also, does anyone have any spark plug recommendations, as well as spark plug gap specs?

I use 8MM wires

Excellent. Also, what do you typically gap your spark plugs to? I've read that HEI should be around 0.045. Any thoughts??
