HELP!!! ASAP!!!

Hey everyone. I just found a GREAT 61 GMC cab for my chevy truck. It is compleatly rust free. I need to know if a 61 chevy dash can be welded into the 61 gmc. They apear to be the same. Please let me know asap, because the cab is only $300 and the guy said he wouldn't hold it. Also, anyone know of any problems that I might run into going from a chevy to a gmc cab? thanks.

I suspect that the cab mounts are different.
