Painting With Foo-Foo Cans It can be tricky as Foo-Foo can paints don't have any hardeners in them . I like to do a good prep then ever so lightly ghost on the paint , waiting 5 ~ 10 minutes between coats for the soplvents to flash off and the paint to tack up so the next uber thin coat goes on well . The first four coats will look bad , really bad but the 5th or 6th coat should look pretty nice . Then , let it sit in the hot sun for a day or two , I heat the parts in my oven for 20 minutes at 200° to ensure they're fully dried , let cool before taking them out . If you research Evan's older posts , I'm sure he's written more and better info than this , he's a professional painter .
