We put my truck back together and something is major wrong. reverse is where 1st should be, 1st is where reverse should be. Used to be a column shift, What do I do?? Pic if you got it please!!!!
Did you put in a floorshifter? If so, you probably have the arms on the transmission upside down. That would cause the problem you've described. If they're on pointing up, reinstall them pointing down. If they are now pointing down, change them to up.
Yep, I did this yesterday, Shift pattern is correct now, I just need to fine tune the linkage for 2nd and 3rd, I can get it to shift into 2nd and 3rd,just have to hunt fo rit a little. Thanks for the help!
