    hi
I have a grill guard for a truck, it has a 7" opening to mount to front bumper. Within that 7" is a 4.5 curvature which mates perfectly to a 1/2 ton truck front bumper. Someone said it won't fit on a 1/2 ton truck, or suburban or panel truck, that it fits only large trucks 2-3 ton.
If it is only for larger trucks, will it fit a one or 1 1/2 ton truck, or it it only for 2 and 3 ton trucks? I have attached photo. thankyou for your time.

    hi
thankyou for your information. Will it fit any years other than 1947-1953?
Will the bumper be the same on GMC, and will it fit GMC?

    What Ken Said BUT...

If you like it and it looks good on your 1/2 tonner , run with it .

Back when these trucks were new , folks tended to use whatever was in stock at the time , not wait for a special order like to-day....

    Bumper

Going by your bumper condition you are going to have to re chrome it or paint it, so it is not a problem if you weld in some fillers on the guards where the small cut outs are so it looks like it was made to fit your bumper and then get all the parts chromed/painted.
