Our host has tailgate arms similar to that in Stainless. Part number is 11-022S ('47-'53) and 11-023S ('54).
Technically not a hinge. The hinge is the pivot at bottom of tailgate. I've seen a bunch of different options over the years for tailgate arms or methods to keep the tailgate horizontal other than the stock chains. The thing I dislike about most is that they would bind up with material in the bed if you actually use your truck as a...truck. Andy
