HELP w/noise

Need help w/noise comming from right side of motor through the exhaust. The noise starts right at the flandge of the manifold,and raidiats down the pipe.The motor has a little rod or main bearing nock,was woundering if the nock would raidiat through the exhaust like it is.Motor is a 400sbc

Sound like you talking about the hot air choke that can make noise if it starting get loose or wore out. that helps to warm up the choke turn the choke off . you have to check it to make sure it working right perlong use of it, if it is jamed close will hurt the motor. make it burn more gas if it does not turn the choke off when it warm enough.
