I finally got around to cleaning up that casting pad behind the distributor on my 62 pickup. In all the catalogs and every other reference I find, this is where the engine ID # should be. Well I found a number : SO124XXM , this number deosn't seem to jive with any of the references that I've found. The 235 ci is supposedly the only six used in the 62's. I need to order some parts but want to make sure this is a 235 serial #. Can any of you guys help???? Please e-mail me at [email protected] THANKS Mike
