I finally found the diagram I drew of the 6 wire turn signal switch. I couldn't figure out how to attach it to a private message, so here it is:
Bill, that is the most understandable diagram I've seen. A note for one using a newer column, an Ididit, or a Flaming River is that sometime around 1960 or so GM went to a change on the wire color coding which all the after market people use. It is purple for the feed (flasher), yellow for the LR, and green for the RR. The light blue for the LF, dark blue for the RF, and white for the brake light feed stayed the same.
Thanks for the compliment. I just looked at the picture and found it hard to read because our web site displays it at 62% of size on my monitor. If others are having the same problem try this: Double click on the thumbnail size picture to make it appear larger (62%). Right click on the 62% sized picture and then click "save picture as". Give it a name and save it somewhere you can find it later. Use whatever .JPG file viewer you have to view it full size.
