I hope all here are well and having a nice day today .

I hit the freeway down at 07:00 and unlike most days it was nearly deserted and no crazy speeders ether .

Monday and Tuesday the local freeways heading East out of town were all jammed .

I'm not feeling my usual chipper self but I am aware I have it better than most .

Merry Christmas my fellow ADers! Yes, I know I said THIS was the year I would be back on task with my truck... I am optimistic that NEXT year will be THE year.

It's sad for me to realize / accept I'll never have another inline 6 cylinder American made pickup truck :( .

Don't be, I have the life I chose and enjoy it .

I spent 8 hours working yesterday then went out further to an outlying junkyard that has "Chevy Tracker" (Suzuki Vitara) early this morning, was there when they opened and got several parts I needed from the un loved but also uncrashed twin to my new (to me) Tracker, everything was well covered & protected by 1/8" + of grease

I took the front seats apart and happily discovered I can swap a good passenger side front seat back rest for the one with a hole in it in my car, always learning .

Came home and set to work cleaning all this mess, everything cleaned up very well indeed and is drying, I washed up and am waiting for the new filters & etc. to arrive, maybe I can install these parts and service the tranny tomorrow......
