Of COURSE Andy would like it!

He's prolly thinking, "Yeah~ that baby'd be nice over medium coals with a little grape vine smoke flavor...":D
Sorry, Andy- close-ups like that give me Flash-backs to a certain picture I saw on this site. ...

Very creative, Nate! That looks like one of those, "You're not gonna screw me" kinda things! Thank God for part stores, huh?

    Thanx !

...That one was made up in a hurry using sprinkler risors and a bolt I'd bought to re-anchor my garage door spring .

I used it to press some Gudgeon Pins (ask Niel) out , for spring eye bushings I'd replace the PVC bits with steel pipes .

It really does work a treat ! ;)

    By the way

Good job on posting the picture, Nate. I've yet to figure out how to do that with the "attatched thumbnails" thing. Sideways pictures? I got it. 4 or 3 at a time? I'm your man! A www. address? Who else? But post a picture like everyone ELSE does??? no clue-

Maybe I'll make one of those press things and apply it to this computer....;)

Ask me about gudgeon pins???? Nate, not sure what you mean but for removing them i prefer the old tried and tested clamping the piston tight in a vice (metal jaw) and hammering them out with a sharp chisel and a 2lb lump hammer, with a touch of grinding paste for good luck.

    Lol !

I meant the U.S. of A. denizens would have to ask you what the hell a
    ' Gudgeon Pin ' is....... :p

You do use a 9 # Single jack there right ?

I know you use the Clover Compound so's it'll slide back in much easier .

I prefer the mix of grit and metal filings found on the workshop floor myself,

    Picture Fun

    O.K. Zig ;

You know I know Bupkis about computers -BUT- I try to pay attention and I occasiopnally learn something .

I was lopoking at this pic before I posted it , in ' picture viewer ' and there's buncxhes of buttons and if you hover the cursor over each one whilst the pic is displayed , it'll tell you what'll happen if you click that button ~ one said
' rotate picture ' . so if you did that to get it rightside up then right clicked on the picture and selected " save as " then saved it to your desktop , it'll paste correctly in your next post when you select it from browsing your desktop...

    WHEW ! I cannot believe I just wrote a ' how to ' for a computer . :p

There's prolly a better & simpler way but I go with what works for me .

Uh-oh:eek: Now Nate is going to one-up all of us as he gets that big brain of his going on his PC. Look out everyone:D soon he will be working for Microsoft and giving tech advise to Gates himself:D

Nate that is as good a way as any and I use it often. Windows Picture viewer is good that way. Certainly beats expensive PhotoShop software. Windows picture viewer may not be the default picture viewing software, however. To get it to load if it isn't, find the picture file and right click on it. Then choose "open with" in the pull down menu and you will see "windows picture and fax viewer". choose that and it will come up. allows you to do simple mods to the pic and it will save as Nate says.
