On the hood clearance, not sure, but there is a LOT of room even with a high-rise.

CPP sells a Chevy Blazer tank that is used to fit under the bed of 60-72 trucks.

    Tank relocation

:7 Thanks for info on tank I've been wondering how to move it. Is that the way the tail pipe is supposed to route around the frame rail or is that just because you have the exhaust through the roll pan.Mine will have to be custom because of the original 305V6 engine- I don't see any listing for this engine on exhaust pipes.

    RE: Tank relocation

99.9% of the exhausts on these trucks needs to be fabricated from the header collectors back. There are just no NOS exhaust suppliers, and the age makes it impractical for vendors to have pre-bent full exhaust systems like the later models have.

I had mine done about a year ago. You can expect tp pay roughly $700 for a muffler shop to do a full length exhaust including the mufflers, hangers, etc...

:7 Where did you find headers for a V6 or are they customs too?

    RE: Exhaust

    I have a 350 crate, not a v6. Lot's easier to find headers for a 350.. ;)
