Hood panel?

Hi guys!
I’m trying to find the panel on the inside of the hood, the panel that the hock attaches to.

Picture to easily understand what I mean

what is the name of this part? And where can I by it? Or do you have one that you don’t need and are willing to send all the way to Sweden?

 

I don't have one, but it would be easier to find the right part if you specified make (although it looks like a Chevy, not a GMC) and year.

 

Of course, it’s to a chevy 3100, year 1947

 

Do a search for "Dead Zone Truck Parts" in Arizona and speak with Joe. He has MANY AD truck parts and I'm sure does international sales.

 

Do they have any website, can’t find them when I google?

 

Maybe Evan who's right here and lives in TEXAS will have what you need .

Some years back I was given a '47 Advance Design hood, no one anted it, not for FREE .

I held onto it a couple years then gave it to the local scrap guy who's always asking me for things .

 

unlucky for me. Hope someone can help me. I have been looking everywhere online

 

I'd call that part the 'hood latch slam panel'

You must have mad carpentry skills, I'm envious .

 

I don't know about my skills but it was a lot of fun and I ended up with a truck that I will never get rid of. I use it with my grandaughter to sell her honey on the roadsides.
