how do u find wiring diagrams

I have a 1950 gmc and my dad put in a new 12v wiring harrness 8 years ago and i was wondering were to get the diagrams for it. The wires are all numberd and my dad never finish wiring it up.

Wiring Diagrams

If you talk to your dad and find out where he got the harness or who made it. You can usually contact them and they should be able to get you a reprint of the diagram. Hope this helps.

6 or 12 volts makes no differance , I'm guessing you bought a non stock harness then ? .

For stock wiring diagrams , look in the factory shop manual , they're OnLine @ The Old Car Shop Manual Project
