You'll notice that on the face of the cylinder, there is a small hole. To remove the lock cylinder, put the key in the switch and turn it clockwise until it stops. Now, take a piece of stiff wire (straightened out paper clip works) and insert it into the hole (depresses the tumblers in lock). Now turn the key clockwise again until the lock cylinder comes out.
