how do I go about replacing spring shackle pins and bushings. also, how do I remove shackle pin and bushing attached to frame. any other tips for this job?
I wish I could remember... It's been a while. It wasn't too complicated, I do remember that much. I might have used my manual, or it might have been help from here. Glad you checked, huh?
Spring Eye Bushings IIRC (it depends on the year) , the pin in the spring unscrews then you use some sockets and All Thread to press the old worn out bushing out of the spring eye .
