Since it's almost Halloween and the weird and scary is on mind I was wondering if others besides me have really strange habits (short comings). On the truck subject I always hope some needed part, bracket, tool, etc is not available so I have to make them and if available I'm disappointed if it fits exact with no modifications needed. It gets even stranger on a personal level. I cannot eat with silverware that has been on a bare table top---has to be on napkin. If it falls off napkin onto floor it's fine to eat with. Have used fingers or carried fork to restroom to wash if it's touched table top. There's my Halloween scary; what are yours?

Well, Evan... that's pretty "scary", and I don't know if I can best your weirdness (but I'll try like heck). Here goes: I always take my glasses off when I eat. Always.
And if THAT ain't weird enough, I own a HUDSON.

    Happy Halloween!

    Mike,
I have really fond memories of Hudsons. Back in the 50's we raced a 32 Essex Coupe with the 308 Twin HP engine on the local circle tracks. We were untouchable against the flathead Fords and 302 Jimmy's. Several tracks offered a bounty that went up $100 a week to any car that could beat the Hudson. Our tow truck was a 47 Hudson pickup with a 308 also.

Talk about weird & strange :

I think it's perfectly fine to drive a 56 year old beat to crap English car anywhere I want , especially on Road Rallies full of Sports Cars .

I also prefer to work a truck with an InLine 6 cylinder engine over anything else .

    Go figure .
