    hi!,I'm converting my engine from a 305 v/6 to a 350 v/8,tranny wise i,m changing from standard to automatic(th350),my question is when swaping out tranny's do i need to change crossmembers, or what do i do???? Same ? with motor mounts ,what kind of mounts do i need.Please help

    Check and keep on checking on e-bay on hub caps things change every day on e-bay!

    I change from a 216 to a 402. Frame mounts from a 73 worked like a champ, after re-drilling the frame and crossmember, and bending the front crossmember bolt tab to match the crossmember. Also, you get the later style though-bolt mounts, rather than the old horse-collar, or center-bolt style.

    You will need to fabricate, or purchase a tranny mount, since you are moving the tranny mount from the bellhousing to the tailshaft housing.

    Just $.02 from my project.

    Simple answer, yes. You will need a TH350 crossmember and mount.
